This book gives insight about the struggles those in pastoral ministry go through and the ongoing support, love, and good friendships they need. The author teaches pastors how to acknowledge their brokenness, embrace their weaknesses, and become strong in their ministry and personal life by teaching them about the six key relationships every pastor must have to thrive not just survive.
This book was a huge blessing for me to read as I related so much to certain passages and chapters. Also reading Jimmy Dodds personal stories we're helpful in certain areas of insecurity and always remembering that the Lord calls the unqualified and qualifies the called.
