Danny Jacobo
Senior Pastor
Danny Jacobo is the senior pastor at Calvary Pico Rivera in Pico Rivera, California. Born in 1973, raised in the city of Pico Rivera, and now residing with his wife and 3 children in Whittier. Pastor Danny was married in 1993 to his wife Julie. He received the Lord in 1993 and has served in various ministries at CC La Mirada, and was Youth Pastor for 4 years at CC Hacienda Heights. Pastor Danny attended and completed the Calvary Chapel La Mirada Bible Ministry School in 2003. He and Julie, along with others began a prayer meeting and Bible Study in the summer of 2005 on the Smith Park benches, and Julie doing Children’s Ministry on a blanket. Julie continues to oversee the Children’s Ministry and now oversees the Women’s Ministry as well. Our Pastor’s heart is to have an impact within the community helping people come to know God personally through a relationship with Jesus Christ. They are committed to the work that is going on and looking forward to what the future is going to bring.
Bob Jacobo
Elder
Bob Jacobo is an Elder at Calvary Pico Rivera. He was born in Los Angeles in 1944. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1996, served at Calvary Mid-Valley for almost ten years before coming to Calvary Pico Rivera in 2005 to serve under Pastor Danny. Although his primary responsibilities are in the area of Finance and as Ministry Leader for the Ushers/Greeters Ministry, he is blessed to serve wherever and whenever there is a need. He is especially blessed to have been with Calvary Pico Rivera when it was founded. He is looking forward to continuing to see the Holy Spirit move in the city of Pico Rivera.
Gerry Galvan
Spanish Ministry Pastor
Gerry Galvan's journey with the Lord began over fifteen years ago while attending services with his family at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs.
As time went on, the Lord moved him and his family to the City of Pico Rivera and eventually to CPR. It was during this time when Pastor Gerry felt the need to further equip himself and enrolled in the Bible Ministry School at CC La Mirada.
After graduating from the Bible Ministry School, the Lord opened several ministry opportunities for Pastor Gerry to serve which included serving as an usher and leading the helps ministry.
Pastor Gerry is currently serving at Calvary Pico Rivera as the Spanish pastor and resides in the City of Whittier with his wife Terry and their three children; Michael, Edward and Katelyn.
